Biography/CV

I am a writer, photographer, curator and lecturer based in Bath, England. I am a senior lecturer on the Documentary Photography Course at the University of South Wales. It's a fantastic course.

I write on photography for the BJP, Foam Magazinel, Photo Eye and other publications. I also run a blog in which my less-edited thoughts are given voi.ce. It's called Colin Pantall's Blog and you can read it here.

I am also co-editor of the upcoming book, Magnum in China, which will be published (and exhibited) later in 2017.

My photography focusses on my domestic environments and how photography reinforces the myths of fatherhood, family and the fatherland.
